Performance Issue With Sales Order Cancellation (Doc ID 1681183.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, Trx Changes & Cancellations

Performance Issue with Sales Order Cancellation. The Sales Order cancellations are taking long time,
below are metrics from different instances. Users found <Note.1497214.1> that mentioned a
patch (13521835:R12.QP.B) to resolve the issue, The patch was applied but unfortunately the same
performance issue persists.

Before Patch Application:
UAT Instance: To cancel 100 Orders with 1868K lines, it took 30 mins.
SITDEV Instance, cancelling 100 orders with 1867 lines, it took 3 mins.
Cancelling 500 orders with 12K lines took 17 mins.

After patch Application:
DEV Instance: 516 orders with 12058 lines, it took 14 mins 20 secs.
UAT Instance: cancelling 2,007 lines took 25 mins.

Expect the the performance of mass cancellation to be more efficient.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User
2. Order Organizer > Query Open Booked Orders
3. Select multiple orders
4. Actions > Cancel > Cancel Reason provided
5. Click OK and observe the above mentioned performance.
