Symptoms
On Oracle Applications 12.2.3 version,
the reference field $PROFILES$.ORG_ID does not get evaluated dynamically when passed through to the Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) from a personalization setup within the form.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Query for any DFF.
2. Set the reference field as $PROFILES$.ORG_ID.
3. Now go to the form that embeds this DFF and see the values are dynamically populated as per the reference field.
