Applies to:
Oracle Applications DBA - Version 12.2.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The R12.2.3 applications startup script has no parameter in the script command line for the weblogic password and the weblogic password is prompted for when the script is run.
Is there a way running these scripts without human interaction? Can the scripts be changed so the weblogic password can be passed into the script as a parameter.
The goal is to pass the weblogic password to the applications tier startup script $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adstrtal.sh without having to enter the password at the prompt.
This feature would be useful for scripting the stop and starting of the EBS services, for example when using cron.
