Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Starting to test the PAE Letters for Communication functionality. Run 'GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment – Employee Communications Generation' program in Summary mode for payroll/ pay period where GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment Process has been run. For type of letter 'Letter of DB Scheme Postponement', 'GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment – Employee Communications Generation' program identifies in output 302 employees who should have letter generated, but there is no output when the 'GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment – Employee Communications Generation' program is run in Generate mode for the same letter type

We were running this is a test instance against an old pay period (Jan 2014) so no changes were made to the PIA in between running the Summary conc prog and the Generate

The business also tried the Generate mode with 'Letter for the Automatically Enrolled' which gave the same no output result, even though the Summary of Changes for Review showed one employee who would have had this letter type

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When the 'GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment – Employee Communications Generation' is run in Generate mode, letters to be created

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run 'GB Pensions Automatic Enrolment – Employee Communications Generation' in Summary and Generate mode
2. No output created in Generate mode
