After Replacing an Approver Who Has Already Approved, Approval Is Forwarded To the Replacing Approver (Doc ID 1904436.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Approvals Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version, General Issues

Multiple approvers exist for a transaction.
The first approver approves the transaction. The remaining aprovers have not approved yet.
The first approver who has already approved the transaction is replaced in the static approver group by another appprover.
Now the new approver who replaced the 1st approver needs to approve again.

Expect the new approver not to have to approve again since 1st level approval was already done
(by the replaced 1st level approver)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. 1st level approver (ApproverX) approves the transaction

2. In AME, ApproverX is replaced by ApproverY in the applicable static approver group

ApproverY has to approve the transaction again whereas ApproverX has altready approved it.
