Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Support Codes

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Project related Inventory transactions come with zero cost after interfaced to projects even though custom code has been added in client extention 'cse_asset_client_ext_stub.get_redeploy_flag' to set x_redeploy_flag := 'N' for any transaction that has a previous transaction of type_id in (110, 108, 132, 133).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Project related Inventory transactions come with the correct cost after interfaced to projects.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Add custom logic in client extention 'cse_asset_client_ext_stub.get_redeploy_flag' to set x_redeploy_flag := 'N' for any transaction that has a previous transaction of type_id in (110, 108, 132, 133)
2. Do a Miscellaneous Receipt for an item/serial
3. Do a Miscellaneous Issue To Project for the same item/serial
4. Install and Put In Service the item
5. Run Create Accounting program
6. Run 'Interface In-Service Transactions to Oracle Projects - Normal Items' for the project and task
7. Run 'PRC: Transaction Import' with parameter Transaction Source = 'CSE_INV_ISSUE' to import 'Install' and 'Put In Service' transactions into Projects and create PA expenditure items for both transactions.
8. Do a Miscellaneous Receipt From Project for the same item/serial.
9. Do a Miscellaneous Issue To Project for the same item/serial. This transaction is interfaced to Projects with Zero Cost (i.e. still subsequent transactions are considered as redeployment and raw_cost is passed as Zero to Projects).

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot reconcile costs in Projects correctly.

Changes

Added custom in client extention 'cse_asset_client_ext_stub.get_redeploy_flag' to set x_redeploy_flag := 'N' for any transaction that has a previous transaction of type_id in (110, 108, 132, 133).
