Symptoms

On : 12.1.1 version, Subledger Accounting

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Facing Opm Preprocesser performance issue
DBA found the perfomance issue because of the following query
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM XLA_EVENTS WHERE APPLICATION_ID = 555 AND REFERENCE_NUM_1 = :B1


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
No Performance, process to complete within reasonable amount of time.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Opm Financials>OPM Accounting preprocessor
 DBA was monitoring the execution statements while it is running.
2- He found that the above select statement is executing in very long time.
3- FBA created/tested an additional mentioned index agains this column REFERENCE_NUM_1 , they found that the spending time is decreased from around 17 hours to 2 hours

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete process on time.
