On Oracle Applications 12.2.0:
While defining a new Key Flexfield (KFF), the value set with format type "Char" in the Format Validation have checked in the 'Upper case only' check-box. When saving the record, the checkbox automatically gets unchecked.
While defining a new Key Flexfield (KFF) value set with format type "Char" in the Format Validation, have checked in the 'Upper case only' check-box. When saving the record, the checkbox does not get unchecked.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation: Application Developer-Descriptive-Validation-Sets.
2. Define a new Value Set and check the 'Upper case only' check-box.
3. Save the record,
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot define the 'Char' format type of DFF with 'Upper case only' check-box enabled.
