Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Material Move Orders

Transact Move Order not able to allocate inventory

While doing allocation for Item# nnnn in Org xxx, the release sales order splits 2 lines on Transact Move order. One of the line seems to allocate and transact fine but the split line which has allocated quantity in decimals seems to be not working. This shows Requested Qty as 0 which seems to be incorrect. This causes allocation fail.

ERROR
-----------------------
"Transacting this quantity would exceed the shipping tolerances for this sales order line. The maximum quantity that can be transacted for the sales order line is 0."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Book Sales Order, Item nnn ship from Org xxx
Release Sales Order
Transact Move Order to allocate Lot/Serial.
The first line seems to be working but split line which is in decimals has an issue in allocation.
