T4 PDF Process Performance Issue (Doc ID 1910056.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, in Production,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When running the Employee T4 PDF process, it is observed that it takes a long time to complete

The APPLPTMP directory is set to write to NFS disk and we would like to know if this could be the cause of such performance problems. The job should run in 12 hours and it is taking 3 days.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
It is expected that the process completes in a reasonable amount of time


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Submit the Employee T4 (PDF)
2. Observe that it takes a long time to complete
