R12: Account Hierarchy Manager Errors - "The Application Was Unable To Establish Connection To TCF Socketserver Running At TCF Host" (Doc ID 1911000.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from 11i to R12, when trying to open Account Hierarchy Manager (AHM) , the following error occurs:

ERROR:

The Application Was Unable To Establish Connection To TCF Socketserver Running At TCF Host

Details:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.apps.gl.jahe.javaui.coatree.CADataModel.GetItemCount(COADataModel:69)

 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. General Ledger Super user > Setup > Accounts > Manager
2. See the error message

 

Changes

 Upgrade to 12.1.3
