Last updated on OCTOBER 30, 2023

Applies to:

User Productivity Kit - Version 3.6.1 to 12.1.0.0 [Release 3.6.1 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In a Windows authenticated environment of UPK, if the UPK admin user is no longer available (for example. left the company), this leaves the entire environment not capable of utilizing any of the administrative functions of UPK.  In order to get around this, an existing UPK user's username, preferably the one who is no longer available, will need to be modified to match an existing UPK administrator's Windows DOMAIN\USERNAME.
