Unable to perform column validation Error on WEBADI while using Accounting KFF Validator on a custom integrator (Custom API), for testing this functionality in FAH journal upload .
Have a custom API using OA_FLEX component.
After entering the valid segment values in concatenated segments and upload, it is throwing "Unable to perform column validation" error.
This error is repeated for each segment.
When attempting to upload with Accounting KFF on custom WebADI Integrator, the following error occurs:
Unable to perform column validation
No validation rule available for column &COLUMN_NAME
Are able to upload without KFF (Key Flex Field).
This KFF is used in General Ledger journals integrator and the issue does not occur there.
The same issue is documented in <Bug: 12552144>.
The customer reported: I already tried this workaround almost 20 times but no use.
The issue still occurs after applying these patches:
WEB ADI 22.214.171.124 CONSOLIDATED PATCH 16655943
OAF 126.96.36.199 PATCH 15880118 (Released) TRACKING BUG FOR OA FRAMEWORK
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Navigate to the Integrators page in Oracle E-Business Suite Desktop
Integration Framework (Desktop Integrator Manager responsibility > Create Integrators
Create a new Integrator Interface = ORACLE_KFF_012
for segment ACCOUNT (ALL are setup the same)
Set Validation Type = Key Flexfield
From Excel => Add-Ins => Oracle => Upload
Created a custom integrator that uses a Key FlexField
