Show Network Routing Options-Ocean Only Creating Two of the Three Expected Shipments, Leaving OM Unplanned
(Doc ID 1916543.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 27, 2014
Applies to:Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version 6.3.4 to 6.3.5 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When planning an order release by running the new 6.3.4 functionality Show Network Routing Options - Ocean, in the Show Options screen, the main carriage (sequence 0) leg is based on early pickup date of the Order Release + the service time of the preceding leg, but in actual shipment building, that service time is not taking into account when determining the start time of the main shipment. Because of this, the pre-carriage leg cannot be planned.
Expect the service time of the preceding leg to be taken into consideration when planning the main carriage, so that the pre-carriage can also be time feasible and planned accordingly.
