Unable To Add Sick Leave For An Employee (Doc ID 1921304.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a leave record for an employee, the following error occurs.

ERROR
APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 1406 in FDFGDF

Cause: FDFGDF failed due to ORA-01406: fetched column value was truncated.

The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: SELECT PAAF.
ASSIGNMENT_NUMBER||'.'||PAAF.ASS_ATTRIBUTE1 FROM
PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_F PAAF, FND_SESSIONS FS WHERE PAAF.
PERSON_ID = :a1 AND PAAF.PRIMARY_FLAG = 'Y' AND FS.SESSION_ID =
USERENV('session_id') AND FS.EFFECTIVE_DATE BETWEEN PAAF.
EFFECTIVE_START_DATE AND PAAF.EFFECTIVE_END_DATE and was executed
from the file &ERRFILE.


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigated as XX Super User responsibility --> Person record --> Others --> Absence

2. Added a sick leave record and saved.

3. The above error was displayed.
