Symptoms

When attempting to add a new record to the Multi-Currency Conversion Setup the following error occurs.

ERROR
Note: Rounding factor defaults from the multi-currency conversion list and cannot be updated on the price list


STEPS-
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Profiles are set as follows:

QP: Multi Currency Installed Y Site
QP: Price Rounding PRECISION Site
QP: Unit Price Precision Type EXTENDED Site

1. Navigate to: Pricing > Price List > Multi-Currency Conversion Setup
2. Query on
    Base Currency Code: USD
    Name:USD To Federated Currencies
    Base Round to: -5
3. Record is entered for:
    To currency code: EUR and Round To = -2.
4. Error is shown for record being entered:
      Note: Rounding factor defaults from the multi-currency conversion list and cannot be updated on the price list

 

WHAT WAS TRIED BUT DID NOT WORK FOR ALL CASES

1. Profiles are set as follows:

QP: Multi Currency Installed Y Site
QP: Price Rounding PRECISION Site
QP: Unit Price Precision Type STANDARD Site

2. Run custom Quote Report

Note: This report uses standard public API QP_Price_List_PUB.process_price_list and
when its calling QP_Validate_Price_List getting the below error from line 83:
