In case a manager selects the appraisal of a specific employee and navigates to the page to assign the overall rating, the error message "This appraisal does not exist." is displayed. (Doc ID 1924490.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP6 version, Appraisals in All instances.

When attempting to give Final Ratings to an appraisal, the following error occurs.
This issue happens intermittently and can be replicated with appraisals of any employee.

ERROR
'This appraisal does not exist'.


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create and publish a PMP without objective setting.

2. Login as Manager.
    Navigate as Manager Self Service > Performance Management.

    Next page is 'Performance Management Task List'.
    Here, the PMP has only appraisals, no objective setting.

    Clicked on 'Go to Task' for appraisals.

3. This shows the page 'Performance Reviews as Manager'.
    Selected the appraisal for one of the employees.

4. Next page shows appraisal details like Objectives.
    Clicked on 'Continue'.

5. Clicked on button 'Update Goals and Performance Review'.

6. Clicked on 'Update' icon for each objective and manager comments are given and Final Ratings is given for each objective.
    Clicked on 'Apply' button.

    The ratings are given to all objectives and clicked on 'Continue'.

7. Next page, clicked on button 'Give Final Ratings and Complete Performance Review'.

8. This takes the main appraiser onto the next screen to assign the overall rating which is shown.
    The page is Give Final Ratings: Manager.

    Sometimes, instead of showing this page, the error message is shown as below:
    'This appraisal does not exist'.



WORKAROUND
In case the users cancels the transaction and tries again, the error is not encountered.
