Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
After applying <Patch 13816420>:R12.INV.B, cannot pick release expired lots using custom expired lot logic: USER_PKG_LOT.use_expired_lots.
* Worked before patching. Now receive an error.

This inventory org is non WMS enabled. Item is Lot controlled and dual UOM controlled.

ERROR
The material pick release and pick confirm process completed with errors.
The lot number has expired

WHAT CHANGED
Worked until applied <Patch 13816420>:R12.INV.B.
This was tested in several cycles before go-live.
The only change we made was applied recent patch <Patch.13816420>:R12.INV.B.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect expired lots to transact via move orders using custom code.

STEPS
1. Create/book four orders for lots expired.
2. Allocate the lots using “transact move order” selecting the expired lots.
3. Transact
4. Receive an error.

BUSINESS IMPACT
In our business, need to ship expired lots through Internal Sales Order.
For that we implemented solution to use hook USER_PKG_LOT.use_expired_lots as described in <note 1300624.1>.

Changes

Applied <Patch 13816420>:R12.INV.B
