Sabrix Not Been Called when Tax Calculation Method is Set to Latin Tax Engine (Doc ID 1925139.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 05, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If the Tax calculation Method is set to Latin Tax Engine, Sabrix is not called.

For Brazil, you need to set the Tax Calculation Method to Latin Tax Engine so some of the globalizations functionality (that copy the Global Descriptive Flexfield from the Item to the Sales order and to AR Transactions) is not lost.

If the Tax Calculation Method is set to EbTax, then the Brazilian Globalizations does not work.
