BI Publisher Cannot Identify the User Catalog When HASHUSERHOMEDIRECTORIES is Set to 2 (Doc ID 1927118.1)

Symptoms

Create an Oracle BI Analysis and save in the user catalog.

When creating a data source by the Oracle BI Analysis, cannot find it in the user catalog.

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Log in a BI Publisher instance in which HashUserHomeDirectories is set to 2.

2. Create an Oracle BI Analysis and save in the user catalog (personal folder).

3. Create a new Oracle BI Analysis type data source, and select the personal folder.

4. Cannot find the Oracle BI Analysis just saved.

Changes

HashUserHomeDirectories has been set to 2 in instanceconfig.xml file
