When attempting to pick release, the following error occurs and is seen in the sales order form additional information tab of the sales order.
Affected order lines are still in a PO_REQ_CREATED and PO_CREATED status.
Workflow ship line activity has failed. Please fix the errors and retry the activity from the order form or the workflow monitor
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management Super User Responsibility
3. Release Sales Order
There were changes to orders from external to internal after the orders were imported.
The order lines in PO_REQ_CREATED and PO_CREATED had not had the Internal Requisition and Receipt steps completed within Oracle Purchasing.
This caused problems with order lines interfacing to shipping and creating a delivery detail at the time of booking.
This is evident in the HTMomse11i.sql output where the SHIPPING_INTERFACED_FLAG = N and the LINE_STATUS = PO_REQ_CREATED and PO_CREATED in the OE_ORDER_LINES_ALL table.
