Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Transaction Control

When attempting to add a KIT item to a BOOKED order, the following error occurs and no workflow is assigned to the KIT model and kit components do not explode.

ORA-20002-3100 Item 'OEOL/XXX' does not exist in package OE_ORDER_WF_UTIL Procedure Start_Flow

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility Order Management Super User
2. Navigate to Order Workbench > Orders, Returns> Sales Order Tab >
3. Query any BOOKED order >
4. Add KIT item to the BOOKED order >
5. Receive the error

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add Items to the BOOKED order which is required in their business, customer routinely adds items to their booked orders and since these lines cannot be shipped or cancelled this issue has financial impact .
