Brazil (JLBRAR): Tax Rounding is Being Performed at the Line Level and Generating Discrepancies
(Doc ID 1930054.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Financials for the Americas - Version 12 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Currently Latin Tax does not allow for an option to round at the Tax Header level.
Rounding at the Line Level is causing discrepancies.
For Example:
Line amount tax line rounded tax line no rounded
1 1256 70.34 70.336
2 599.6 33.58 33.5776
If it is rounded at the Header Level (nearest), it should be:
70.336 + 33.5776 = 103.9136 --->>> 103.91
BUT Tax is 103.92
Latin Tax does not use Header Level rounding.
This is a Government requirement within Argentina.
