When using the   PDOI-po documents open interface-to update line information on Existing PO, the Import Standard Purchase Order program tries to create a new line instead of updating.

Basically the objective is to update certain data fields on existing PO lines.

 

ERROR

The "Import Standard Purchase Orders' program tries to create a new line on the po instead of updating

STEPS
-------------------
1. populate data in the PO INTERFACE HEADERS AND LINES TABLE for an existing po - put existing PO_LINE_ID in there for instance
2. update the Receipt Routing field at PO shipment level
3. run the "Import standard purchase orders" program

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
Due to this issue, users cannot update existing po data
