Oracle Human Resources - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Core HR - General, R12.1.3 HRMS RUP6

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Global Deployment - Date First Hired is wrong for people being redeployed in the same host country

When you make a first deployment for a person into a host country the Date First Hired on the home record is correctly transferred to the host record. If you then return the person to their home country and make a second deployment to the host country where they had previously been- then the previous Latest Start Date is transferred to the Date First Hired field on the host record.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Date first hired field in the host record should be as per the one in the Home record

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Date first hired (Home record) 09-AUG-2010
2.Deployed from UK to US from 25-JAN-2012 til 31-MAY-2012
Date first hired (host record) picked up correctly: 09-AUG-2010
3.Redeployed to US from 23-JUL-2014
Date first hired (host country) 25-JAN-2012- wrong- which is the starting date of first deployment in the US
