Section 2. Item Web Service from Integrated SOA Gateway (Not supported from 12.2.5)
Section 3. Forms based Java web services for Item (Deprecated)
Section 4. Using EGO_ITEM_PUB PL/SQL APIs (or EGO_USER_ATTRS_DATA_PUB APIs) as Item Webservice (Known Limitations)
Issue #1 Update Operation from API Is Not Working Through WebService due to missing mandatory attributes
Issue #2: Invoking two webservices consequently, for ego_item_pub.process_item and for error_handler.get_message_list doesn’t get the error messages from the first API.
Issue #3: PL/SQL API works, but REST webservice returns 'U' / Unexpected error
Section 5. New Process Items Web Service available from Release 12.2.13 or higher
