Oracle Workflow - Version 12.2.3 to 12.2.3 [Release 12.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Oracle Application Release 12.2.3
After granting worklist access the 'Switch User' button is missing. Users may also see that they are unable to access the Proxy
Configuration page so that the proxy feature of providing a user worklist access can be made at a global level.
This can be reproduced as follows:
1. USER_A clicks the worklist access and grants delegation to USER_B.
2. USER_B signs on.
3. USER_B should be able to see the Switch User button to manage the delegated workflow notifications, but it is missing.
Changes
Customer upgraded from 11.5.10.2 to 12.2.3
Workaround
It is possible to manually assign the 'Manage Proxies Role', but this is not acceptable in a production environment.
The goal and required action is to configure a global policy that will provide this access to all.
Business Impact
The delegation of approval authority is a critical business need.
