UPK: 12.1. Arithmetic Operation Resulted In An Overflow Error (Doc ID 1933617.1)

Symptoms

In UPK 12.1. client, when an Author tries to check in a document an "Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow." error is returned.  Error is captured in the OdDevxxxxx.log located in c:\users\username\appdata\local\UPDEV8.

Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.
Developer encountered a critical error and must be restarted. Exiting will close the application.
If possible, Developer will ask to save your work.
