R12 OIE Audit: After Applying An Itemization That Results In a Policy Violation, The Count of 'Number of Policy Violations' / 'Number of Expenses with Violations' Does Not Update Until The Save Button Is Pressed (Doc ID 1934635.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Expenses - Version 12.0.0 to 12.2.4 [Release 12 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After itemizing an expense report during its audit such that a Duplicate Detection policy is violated, it is found that on the Audit page the counts below remain at zero:
- Number of Policy Violations: 0
- Number of Expenses with Violations: 0

After the Save button is pressed, then the counts update:
- Number of Policy Violations: 2
- Number of Expenses with Violations: 1

Is this expected system functionality that it will only be updated after saving?
