Statement Of Earnings Shows Incorrect Deduction Amount

A deduction amount for employees is suddenly doubled on the SOE. This started after a name change of associated benefits plan and a change to the reporting name of the element. All calculations are correct, and the employee is paid correctly, but the statement of earnings does not show the correct amount for the current deduction.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run payroll for employee with the deduction
2. View SOE
