Symptoms

On 12.1 HRMS RUP7 version in Oracle Advanced Benefits,

SYMPTOM 1: When attempting to save enrollment changes on the Benefits Service Center form, the following form error occurs:

FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-6511

  

SYMPTOM 2: When attempting to make enrollment changes via Self-Service > Benefits, the following error occurs:

Row 36 error – ORA-06511: PL/SQL: cursor already open Cause: An unexpected error has occurred. Action: Please refer to your system administrator.

  


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to responsibility US Super HRMS Manager or Employee Self-Service > Benefits.
2. Go to the enrollment form/page and enroll and/or make changes to enrollments.
3. Attempt to save or advance to the next page.

Error(s) occur.
