Errors when attempting to perform Physical Inventory Adjustments, by running the Physical Inventory Adjustments concurrent request.
Error in Physical Adjustment Program - ( SQL Error(Main-11a), Error Code = -1405 )
PHY_INV_SUB_XFER : Process enabled flag : N
PHY_INV_SUB_XFER : Exception inside procedure PROCESS_PHY_INV_SUBXFER :ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("INV"."MTL_PHYSICAL_ADJUSTMENTS"."SUBINVENTORY_NAME")
While performing Physical Inventory there were multiple issues found:
- While performing Count from forms for a License Plate Number (LPN) into a different Subinventory/Locator which has a different Cost Group than that of the Sub in which the LPN originally resides, the Launch Adjustments program was failing.
- When the user counts a different Lot in an LPN in a different location, the Code in Process_Phy_Inv_SubXfer was inserting a Sub Xfer record with null Transfer Sub which was wrong and the system was trying to perform a Sub Xfer.
- Counting the same LPN in multiple locations resulted in error of Launch Adjustments concurrent program. Ideally such a situation of same LPN in multiple locations is physically impossible and should not happen but user error can cause it and should be handled gracefully.
