On Production 12.1.3 instance patched at R12.HR_PF.B.delta.6 <Patch 16000686> running Oracle Payroll for SA and AE
within Terminate screen unable to Reverse Terminate person with the following received error.

APP-PAY-34811: You are not authorized to process this secured assignment.

Cause: You are attempting to perform an update on a secured assignment that will effect element entries
where you do not have the appropriate authorization.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. HRMS responsibility

2. Navigate to:

  People >
  Enter and Maintain >
  query for Employee >
  People screen >
  Others button >
  Terminate screen >
  click Reverse Terminate button >
  receive error

  APP-PAY-34811: You are not authorized to process this secured assignment.

  Cause: You are attempting to perform an update on a secured assignment that will effect element entries where you do not have the appropriate authorization.
