Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Spares Management - Version 12.1.2 to 12.1.2 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.2 version, Spares Logistics

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When an order line for a parts requirement is split into 2 lines (due to partial shipment) and one part is shipped while the other is cancelled, both show up as 'Expected' in the parts requirement details

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It would be expected that the cancelled order line shows up as cancelled in the parts requirement

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a part requirement for quantity 10 (while only 5 is available in the source org)
2. create internal order
3. pick the order line; 5 is picked, 5 is backordered
4. ship the picked quantity
5. Now check the parts requirement. it shows 2 details lines. One in EXPECTED and one in AWAITING_SHIPPING status (correct)
6. in the sales order, cancel the backordered line
7. Now check the parts requirement. it shows 2 details lines. BOTH in EXPECTED status (NOT correct - the second should be CANCELLED)
