Oracle Receivables - Version 12.2.3 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 12.2.3 version, Subledger Accounting Uptake for Receivables
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR --------------- SLA does not create accounting entries for a receipt with multiple lines that net to zero dollars. E.g. create receipt with 2 lines. First line is $100, next is $-100. Thus it nets to zero. Run create accounting but no accounting is generated. In SLA the journal line type (JLT) is set to merge matching lines = all. This means a journal entry should be created for zero dollars if both lines have the same accounting. If merge matching lines is set to = no, the behavior changes: For receivables 2 entries are created, one for the positive amount and one for the negative amount. But for cash there are still no entries created.
STEPS ----------------------- The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 1. Run Create Accounting.
BUSINESS IMPACT ----------------------- The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot create accounting entries based per Standard Financial Information Structure (Federal Department Of Defense) requirements.
