 Error while applying patch 10117518 merged with 18040523, event though adgrants.sql script was executed on db tier:

Adpatch error:
Current target release is 12.0.6

AutoPatch error:
Please apply adgrants.sql file in database tier before applying this patch

You should check the file
/../fs1/EBSapps/appl/admin/<SID>/log/adpatch.log

for errors.

Executed the adgrants.sql script on database tier, following the instructions in Patch 10117518 Readme:

-- copied the adgrants.sql from $APPL_TOP/admin to $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil
sqlplus "/as sysdba"
@adgrants.sql APPS
exit

Even so, the patch finishes with error, the version of adgrants.sql is the same in $APPL_TOP/admin (12.2 APPL_TOP) and the one delivered by 10117518 patch :
