Order Line Cancellation not Removing the Ship Unit from Order and Shipment

When Order release with two lines item planned into a shipment and then Sent Order line update via integration to cancel the Order Line. Line is not removed from OR & Shipment. The following error occurs
Error Exception Cannot update the S_SHIP_UNIT record. SHIP_UNIT_GID must reference a valid SHIP_UNIT record.
