Stuck Responses In INBOX Folder, With Mailer Showing The Error 'Unable to move message' (Doc ID 1941157.1)

In 12.1.3, when trying to approve/reject notifications from email, it is observed that the approval is not reflected to the application. When connecting to the IMAP account of the mailer, it is seen that the response message gets stuck in the INBOX folder.

When examining the mailer log file, the following messages are seen:
