Class Is Shown Incorrectly As Not Attempted In Learner Home and Learner's Learning History (Doc ID 1941319.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Learning Management - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP6 version, Learner Component

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Class status is shown as 'Not Attempted' in Learner home page and learner's Learning History page, if learner plays the class, later subscribes to certification and this certification is marked Completed due to the execution of the concurrent program "Synchronize Certification Subscriptions with Class Enrollments"

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
'Status' column in Learner Home and learner's Learning History for  the class should show as "Completed" after the execution of the concurrent program "Synchronize Certification Subscriptions with Class Enrollments"

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

- Learner is enrolled into an online class (ClassA) which belongs to a course, say "CourseA", and the learner completes this online class, i.e Class has Player Status "Completed" and Enrollment Status "Attended"

- Learner subscribes into a certification, say "CertA", which has "CourseA" as its component.
Certification status becomes "Subscribed"

- The concurrent program "Synchronize Certification Subscriptions with Class Enrollments" is executed

As ClassA is already completed by the learner and this class is part of CourseA which is part of CertA, the Certification Status becomes "Completed", after the execution of the concurrent program "Synchronize Certification Subscriptions with Class Enrollments". However, the "Status" column in Learner Home and learner's Learning History for "ClassA" after the execution of the concurrent program will show as "Not Attempted"
