Applies to:Oracle E-Business Tax - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Province: ON was created as duplicate in the system and as result taxes are not getting calculated.
The following provides an example:
SQL> select * from HZ_GEOGRAPHIES where geography_id in (13006,13010)
SQL>select * from zx_jurisdictions_b where tax_jurisdiction_code = 'CA HST ON JURISDICTION'
SQL>select * from hr_locations_all where location_id = 145
Jurisdiction is created for ZONE_GEOGRAPHY_ID:13006
If you look at HZ_GEOGRAPHIES, it has TWO jurisdiction codes with ON
So, the system is not able to find the correct jurisdiction and it is looking for 13010, instead of 13006, so no tax is calculated.
Each time the Geography Reference program is run, it is updating Code to "ON"
