Discrepancy in Material Workbench form (INVMWBIV) between On-hand Field in Material Workbench Window and Total Quantity Field in Availability Window (Doc ID 1943495.1)

Find a discrepancy in Material Workbench form (INVMWBIV) between the On-hand quantity shown in the right pane of the Material Workbench window and the Total Quantity shown in Availability window.

Issue reported for the case of reviewing the quantities at locator level. (eg Locator node is selected in the tree on the the left pane of the Material Workbench window)

Related organization is WMS enabled.

Available to Reserve (ATR) and Available to Transact (ATT) quantities shown in Availability window are as expected.

Expect the on hand quantity to match between windows.

The issue has been reported with the following steps:
1. Go to Inventory: (N) On-hand, Availability : On Hand Quantity
2. Enter the item number and press Find
3. In Material Workbench window:
Expand the tree on the left until a locator node and select this node
See the following on the right:
On-hand: 583
4. Click Availability
See the following in Availability window:
Total Quantity: 578   ** it is less than above

Business impact
Due to this issue, users are getting confused on the actual on hand quantities.


 The issue would typically surface after applying a rollup patch for Inventory Management (INV) or Logistics (WMS).
