Is Folder Functionality Language Specific? Spanish Users Are Not Able To Access Public Folders Created in English Language. (Doc ID 1945177.1)

Goal

User has saved a Folder template in the Journal Enter form and made it public, so that other users can see the required columns whenever they query for the journals.

When Mexican users logged in to Oracle in the Latin American Spanish Language session, the folder does not show in the List Of Values.

Steps to reproduce.

  1. Login Apps as any user which has a responsibility
          including folder function (Language English (EN-US)
      ex. Responsibility:General Ledger Super User

  2. Select responsibility which has folder function.
      ex. Responsibility:General Ledger Super User

  3. Launch form
      ex. Enter Journals (Navigation Journal -> Enter )

  4. Create public folder
       in English Forms (any forms which have folder function)
     Menu Folder -> New...
        Enter Folder Name
        Check "Public" checkbox
        Click OK
     Folder -> Save
 
  5. Exit Forms Application

  6. Change session language( ex. EN-US -> ESA )
      Click "Self-Service -> Preferences" for changing language
      Change language from English(EN-US) to Latin American Spanish (ESA)
      Click Apply    

     Then return to Main Menu homepage.

  7. Select responsibility same as above step 2.

  8. Launch form application same as above step 3.

  9. Click folder icon or folder -> open from menu.

     The folder which has been saved in operation 4 is not in LOV.
