19817065 Not Able To Restrict Updates To Contract Funding Workbench For Active Documents (Doc ID 1945664.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Project Contracts - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the project contracts module under the funding workbench it is allowing
update when the contract status is set to closed. This should not be able to
be edited by the user when the status is set to closed. It allows the user to
perform all functionality as if the contract was still set to a status of
active.

When they change the contract status to "Complete" a message appears saying
that I will not be able to make any additional changes to the contract in
this status, which is the result that I would like. Now at the contract
header level all the fields are locked. However when I move to the Funding
Workbench the "Amount" field is not locked and is able to be edited. I can
increase the dollar amount and save my changes, thus allowing me to add
additional funding when the contract has already been and is in the status of
"Complete."
See the following error:

You can see the customer has a contract with a CLOSED status but allowing for
customer to modified the amount on the funding workbench.
