Return Material Authorization (RMA) Transaction for a Lot Controlled Item Fails with Error "The Parameter Value (Lot / Serial) for the Parameter (Item Attributes)is ignored..." (Doc ID 1946077.1)

After performing an Return Material Authorization (RMA) transaction for a lot controlled item the transaction fails with the following error in the Transaction Errors Processing form:

The parameter value (Lot / Serial) for the parameter (Item attributes) is ignored. The transaction details entered do not match the inventory material transaction for one or more of the attributes. Pl. correct it and reprocess the error.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create RMA for a lot controlled item with multiple receiving quantity

2. Receive RMA with multiple lot numbers and some lot numbers have multiple lines in receiving form

3. Enter lot instance in RMA line installation details and total of the lines for each lot number do not match the total lines entered in the receiving form.

4. See the transaction stuck in the  Transaction Errors Processing form with above error message.
