Issues During 12.1.3 Upgrade (Note 884201.1): ORA-04062 signature of package "APPS.JTF_IH_PUB" (Doc ID 1946084.1)

Symptoms

Error while performing 12.2.x Pre-Upgrade activity.

Enterprise Asset Management:
Perform these tasks if you are using Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

1. Set up the Install Base Parameters and Services Profile Option
Applies to 11i release level: All
TUMS step key: EAM_CHECK_SETUP
You must set up the Install Base Parameters and Services Profile Option in accordance with Note 884201.1.
If this note is not checked and the IB Parameters are not verified and set up as described, then the eamsnupd.sql file will fail during patching, therefore creating data corruptions and the upgraded database will be compromised.
Asset Numbers Upgrade will fail, and half of the Asset Numbers will be lost after the upgrade process.

In addition you will need to perform basic setup for  Install Base module:

1. Create Internal Party: Use Customer Support responsibility OR Contact Center to create a new Internal Party.

When opening the Contact Center to create the Party, user gets an error.

Error:

ORA-04062: signature of package "APPS.JTF_IH_PUB" has been changed.

After compiling all forms, the error is different:

FRM-40105: Unable to resolve reference to item
INCIDENT_TRACKING.INCIDENT_DATE_OLD.

Changes

 Upgrading from Release 11.5.10 to Release 12.1.3 (to later upgrade to Release 12.2.x).
