When the "Open Account AP Balances Listing" report is run in "Summary" report mode in R12.1.3 it is not showing any output except for the header. Also the log file summary appears to be showing fewer lines inserted into the global temporary (GT) table.
When the report is run with same details but with the “Report Mode” parameter as "Detail", then it shows data in the output file and the log file showing the correct number of rows inserted into GT table.
Question 1 : Why does the report not show any output in "Summary" mode and why does it insert a different number of rows into the GT table when the report is run in "Summary" mode as opposed to "Detail".
Question 2 : The "Accounts Payable Trial Balance" report is also showing a different "# of rows inserted into GT table" in "Summary" vs "Detail" mode. Please clarify.
