Symptoms

On Oracle Applications R12,
when attempting to start OAFM services after upgrading 10.1.3 Home to 10.1.3.5,
the following error occurs:

ERROR : Timed out( 100000 ): Interrupted Exception

You are running adoafmctl.sh version 120.6.12000000.3

Starting OPMN managed OAFM OC4J instance ...

OAFM Log shows the below error:

WARNING: EJBUtils. Unexpected exception accessing BeanDescriptorAnnotationParser.parseApplicationExceptionAnnotation(EJBPackage, Class): oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedNoClassDefFoundError:

 Missing class: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceRef

Dependent class: com.evermind.server.deployment.J2EEContextAnnotationParser
  Loader: oc4j:10.1.3
  Code-Source:=/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/j2ee/home/lib/oc4j-internal.jar
 Configuration: in META-INF/boot.xml in =/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade Oracle Applications 10.1.3 Home to 10.1.3.5.
2. Start the OAFM services.
3. Review the oafmstd.out file.

Changes

 Upgrade EBS 10.1.3 Home to 10.1.3.5.
