Information in this document applies to any platform.
Users can not expire an item instance from the Install Base (IB) front end.
When selecting the item instance and press the Expire button, it shows the following error:
You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Oracle Install Base User
Query Item Instance
Select the item instance
Click on Expire Button
Sign In with your My Oracle Support account
