After Upgrade To R12.2.4: Migrated RMAs Show Tax Positive And Wrong Total (Doc ID 1947050.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 20, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
After upgrading form 11i to 12.2.4 in August 2014, all migrated RMAs show the tax amount positive and calculates the total amount incorrectly in main tab (OEXOEORD).
Regular sales order display OK after upgrading them from 11i to 12.2.4.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect the tax for RMAs to display as a negative amount and the total to be correct when displayed in the sales order form.

STEPS
1. Order Management Responsibility
2. Sales Orders > Query RMA
3. See that the tax on the order header is a positive instead of a negative amount like in 11i.
4. See that this calculates the total on the RMA incorrectly

NOTE: This happens only to upgraded RMAs. The credit to the customer is correct.  This is a 'display only' issue.
