Quickpay Errors On An Employee Who Is On Sick Leave. (Doc ID 1948654.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, UK Payroll

When attempting to run Quickpay on an employee who is on Sick Leave
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Error was encountered when processing assignment NNNNNNN
Error was encountered when processing Element Type Occupational Sick OSP Absence
Error was encountered when processing formula OCCUPATIONAL_SICK_OSP_ABSENCE_PAY_INFORMATION_FORMULA
An error occurred during formula execution:
UDF Error in formula OCCUPATIONAL_SICK_OSP_ABSENCE_PAY_INFORMATION_FORMULA at line 306: 'pqp_absval_pkg.get_absences_taken_to_date{60}: ORA-01840: input value not long enough for date format'

Cause: An error occurred in the formula


The fast formula refered to in the error message is calling the seeded formula function
PQP_GB_OSP_GET_ALL_BAND_ABSENCE_DETAILS which is where the error is coming from. This issue only started
happening after we applied RUP7.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Quickpay on an employee who is on Sick Leave
2. Error occurs
